The Shack was inspired by a true event. For this book you will need your mind and heart wide open. In the beginning of the book I was just as mad as Mack at God for the horrible things that happen to Missy. But as the story unfolded I was shown that we as humans have free will and God won't take that away from us. We all choose our one paths and sometimes we end up being the victims..that's just live.
