As you may have notices I will read anything Stephenie Meyer writes. She is and awesome writer and she definitely didn't disappoint with The Host. You will want more at the end of this book. I surely did. A story about survival and humanity, it's heartbreaking, hopeful and full of romance. In this book the world is being invaded by an unseen enemy. Mel and her brother Jamie are the only humans left in the world that have not been overtaking by the enemy, or so they thought until they found Jared. This is the first book of a trilogy. Stephenie had written that she was almost done writing the second book titled The Soul in March 2008 and if she continues the series the third book would be titled The Seeker. There are no release dates.Rating: 5
