Sunny

Warning..these books are for mature readers!!
The Monere Series
1. Mona Lisa Awakening
2. Mona Lisa Three (anthology in Over The Moon)
3. Mona Lisa Blossoning
4. Mona Lisa Betwining (anthology in On the Prowl)
5. Mona Lisa Craving
6. Mona Lisa Darkening
Creative, Imaginitive and sexy. This series will make you warm all over. Lots and lots of sex in these books but also a wonderfully creative story. Sunny's world is fasinating with her shapshifters originally being from the moon which use to be a florishing planet with life and land before it became what it is now. I love these books.

The Demon Princess Chronicles
1. Lucinda, Darkly
2. Lucinda, Dangerously
This series is a spin off from The Monere Series. If focuses on Lucinda and the different Hells that are in the creative Moneres Series world. Lucinda is an awesome heroine in these books but I have to admit there is a little too much love spreading in this series. You have to read to find out what I'm talking about;)

Enchanted Series by Nancy Madore

Warning..these books are for mature readers!!
Enchanted- These are short stories based on fairytale characters that have an adult twist to them. This first book was very pleasant and nice to read at bedtime.

Rating-4

Enchanted Again- I was a little disappointed with how dark and scary these stories are compared to her first book. I think it would have been better if she kept the story in a fantasy world rather than modern day real life comparisons.

Rating- 2

Enchanted Dreams- I have not read this one yet and don't know if I will.

Pauline Reage

The Story of O and Return to the Chateau

I could have gone without reading these books but sense I
read the first I had to see what happen to O in the next. So I went
to buy the second just to be even more disappointed. These books
really show you how some men are just dogs

Anne Rice as Anne Rampling and A.N. Roquelaure

Warning..these books are for mature readers!!

You would figure I would have read her vampire series before anything else she wrote but as I was searching her name in the B&N site I found these book along with the others. What really caught my attention was that as I continued my research into her books on her website I found that Anne does not list these book along with all the others. It made me wonder how bad could they really be that she won't even acknowledge then on her site. Well, I soon found out why as I heard the first chapter of The Claiming Of Sleeping Beauty (the first of a trilogy). All I could say was WOW!! I have to get these books. I ordered the trilogy online right away and had them 2 days later. It's a truly amazing ride from beginning to end. Anne not only gives you a very good story by throws in a whole lot of hot and heavy sex. You have to read to understand my enthusiasm. I would just like to say that all the characters in this book are freaking HOT!! Anne Rice is a fantastic writer.

The Sleeping Beauty Trilogy
1 The Claiming Of Sleeping Beauty
2 Beauty's Punishment
3 Beauty's Release

Belinda
This book is very suspenseful and mysterious. It will keep you guessing and thinking but along with those things comes a very controversial love story between 44 year Jeremy and 17 year old Belinda. Having some reservations in the beginning of this book but by the end you seem to understand and love these characters.

D.H. Lawrence

Warning..These books are for mature readers!!

Lady Chatterley's Lover- Sexy, hopeful and makes you wish for a caretaker of your own :) It's about how a marriage can turn into a dungeon of hopelessness and how love can find you even if you're not looking for it. This is my favorite book from this author.
Rating - 4

Sons and Lovers- I think i could have gone without reading this book. Through out the whole book I kept telling myself something was off. Then I finished and was deeply disappointed so on further investigation, by turning to the very first page of the book, I found out is was his biography. I hate biographies!!
Rating- 1

The Rainbow- Takes you through three generations of a family, The Brangwens. It was mostly confusing and Lawrence has a tendency towards homosexuality in this and the sequel which is doesn't bother me but it just felt like it was misplaced.

Rating - 2

Women in Love- This is the continuation of The Rainbow and Ursula has found her true love but this is still brutally confusing because now not only does she get involved with another woman her true love Rupert is in love with a man at same time as he is in love with her..yikes my head hurts just remembering the story. The characters are so confused about who they are and what they want you are left dizzy.

Angels and Demons by Dan Brown

I really enjoyed this book and I have the sequel Da Vinci Code in my library but have not yet had a chance to read it. It's on my "To Read" list like a ,thousand others :) It is full of non stop action and has you on the edge the entire time you read it. Dan Brown has done an excellent job mixing true historical sites and event with fiction. It's smart, fun, and exciting. You don't want to miss out on this book.

John Steinbeck

"Steinbeck deals with the nature of good and evil in this Salinas Valley saga. The story follows two families: the Hamiltons - based on Steinbeck's own maternal ancestry - and the Trasks, reprising stories about the Biblical Adam and his progeny."--wikipedia

I could not put this book down, I absolutely love it. It's one of my favorites. Steinbeck's writing is detailed and vividly marvelous.

"The book is set in the Great Depression and describes a family of sharecroppers, the Joads, who were driven from their land due to the dust storms of the Dust Bowl. The title is a reference to the Battle Hymn of the Republic."--wikipedia.

It's amazing how people survived the great depression. Steinbeck gave a truthful depiction of the day to day goings on during that dreadful time. It was a wonderful read because it opened up my eyes to see how easy my life is and how I've taken for granted the basic essentials in life. Loved it!
